Dear Sangha,
The Mindful Heart Buddha Sangha is welcoming the Palchen Study Group, a Buddhist group in the Tibetan tradition, to share our space. They will be hosting some Saturday morning sits beginning sometime in the near future. Don’t be alarmed if you notice another Buddha and a shrine developing on the east end of our practice hall. The board and the teachers have decided it is a wonderful opportunity to support the community of practitioners in Evansville.
May we be peaceful and at ease . . .

Announcement was made at the Annual Meeting that there would be a new format for the regular sittings. The sittings will be only sixty minutes from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The first forty minutes are to be sitting meditation, there will be no break. The next twenty minutes will be a dhamma talk. At the end of the hour people may leave or there will be question and answer time. And there will be time for tea and conversation.
The teachers want to encourage sangha members to attend regularly and to benefit from both the meditation time and the dhamma talk. Dhamma and meditation are of equal value and support each other.
Because the time for teaching has been shortened there will now be half day retreats offerred monthly. Click on retreat tab on website for more information
